SUPPORT LETTER FOR PENTECOSTAL

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” (John 6:68 NIV).
Dear Brothers and Sisters and Prayer Partners in Christ!
Pentecostal churches of Nepal have been developing indigenous ministers, missionaries and church planters for over a decade now. We believe that effective education and training in Christian ministry among the native people of Nepal is the key to reaching this largely unreached nation, and for good reason. Statistics show that ninety percent of church growth in Nepal today is the direct result of evangelism and compassionate outreach by the country’s own native believers.
Despite the significant success of the native church in recent years, serious challenges remain. The political situation in Nepal over the past twelve years has had an adverse effect on Christian outreach. An ineffective and corrupt government has created many restrictions on personal and collective freedom, stilted economic growth, and hindered opportunities for education and self-sustenance. The enemy, ever setting himself against God’s work, has allowed this cultural and political malaise to maintain the status quo of spiritual bondage and oppression in this tiny nation.
In the midst of these challenges, Pentecostal churches of Nepal have a strong and enduring vision. We seek to build over one thousand churches, establish three Christian high schools, create a vocational training institute for trade workers, found a Christian medical training center for paramedics and nurses, and build three permanent bible colleges. In addition, we have formulated plans to feed, clothe, house, and educate thousands of orphans and destitute children.
Without the generous support of more fortunate and wealthy believers, these visions will remain intangible. That is why we are reaching out to you and others to garner financial support for these and other endeavors. In addition to financial contribution, we are seeking volunteers that are willing to join our ministry on a part-time and full-time basis. We enjoin you to prayerfully consider supporting our ministry, as the success of our efforts and the survival of the church in Nepal depends on it.
None of this would be possible without you. Your prayers, your support, and your encouragement keep us going. I mean that sincerely. Your prayerful consideration and giving will carry us forward into the year ahead. Thank you for all you do. It means more than these words can express.
Together for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His glory
